This is a small village fête that asked for a few re-enactors to talk with members of the public. We are trying to recreate the feel of a small salt trading post. We will have guards (combatants), salt displays, and rich people sitting about looking important! We also want as may crafts as possible going on to make the LHE feel like a busy trading point!.

It is 892, the Danish warlord Hastein, fresh from campaigns in France, has landed in Kent with 2 armies, one in the north, the other in the south. Alfred has positioned his West Saxon army between them to prevent them from joining forces.
